About the Oman Bilingual GED Programme
The Oman Bilingual General Education Diploma (GED) is a two-year programme covering Grades 11 and 12, delivered under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman.
The programme offers a broad range of subjects, delivered in English and Arabic, while supporting the development of additional languages, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills—qualities highly valued by universities and employers.
As a nationally recognised qualification, the GED fulfils university entry requirements in Oman and is also accepted by a range of international institutions.
Students may choose a subject major for the duration of the course. Depending on the subject selected and the university pathway chosen, some students may be required to complete a foundation year prior to entering their degree programme.
