Admission Process
DPS makes the application process for new students as simple and transparent as possible. The journey towards personalised attention begins with the Admissions Office, knowing that all children and families transition differently
Students Based in Oman
- If you live locally, we will help you arrange a visit to the school for you and your child. This will include a placement test by one of our teaching staff that is appropriate to your child’s age.
- If you choose to apply, we will ask for a completed form and some supporting documents. It’s that simple.
- We will go through your application form and aim to give you our decision within two weeks.
Relocating/International Students
If you can’t visit the school in person, do get in touch by phone or email. You can submit the application form online and send us documents in the same way. We’ll work with you to make sure you get the same chance to tour the school, meet staff and ask questions using our virtual discovery meetings! Before your child’s first day at school, we will run an orientation program so you can meet your child’s teacher, and visit the school in person. We’ll do everything we can to make sure your child settles in quickly and happily.
Documents we need
- Essential documentation during admissions
- Copy of the school reports for previous 2 years
- Student’s Medical Card and Immunisation Card (MOH Pink Card)
- Student’s birth certificate
- Student’s ID card and Passport
- ID card and passport for both parents
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Any other reports related to the student
- Good Behaviour Certificate/Report (Secondary)
- MOE Portal Transfer Certificate (if applicable)
